Cameron Wilbers

Exercise Physiologist

Cameron was born and raised in the shire (don’t hold this against him). He completed a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science at UTS in 2020 and went on to complete his Masters of Exercise Physiology in 2023. Unfortunately a boat accident sidelined him for a good portion of 2022, but this only fuelled him to complete his course so he can help others like him that needed to utilise Exercise Physiology to get better. Cameron joined the Physiohealth team in July 2023 and hasn’t looked back since.

He has always had a passion for sport, playing Rugby League for 15 years, whilst also dabbling in soccer, oztag, cricket and basketball along the way. He supports the mighty Red V, but his heart lies with his beloved Boston Celtics in the NBA.

Outside of work and watching/playing sport, he fills the rest of his day going for walks with his partner and his dog, having a couple of ‘quiet ones’ at the pub with his mates, and spending quality time with his family.

Highlights working PH:

The Physiohealth community is like no other! Everyone is so welcoming, encouraging and motivating and makes coming into work so enjoyable. There is never a dull moment in the clinic with this bunch!

What do you love about your career?

I LOVE HELPING PEOPLE!! Having the capacity to help people enhance their health by coming to our clinic is a passion of mine. I also love teaching our younger generation the importance of exercise and how it can benefit them in respect to their own goals.

What gets you out of bed?

I love having the opportunity to see all of our clients grow and work towards their goals everyday, and knowing everyone around me is motivated to do the same. Having the experience of being a patient has fuelled my fire to help people more, knowing how much of an impact it can have on someone’s life.
