She has a wide scope of experience working in different disciplines of Physiotherapy over her career. These include acute care public and private hospitals, primarily managing post operative Total Knee Replacements, Total Hip Replacements and Rotator Cuff Repairs. Kylie also has experience working in, rehabilitation units, musculoskeletal private practice, aged care and geriatric rehabilitation.
Kylie treats a wide variety of conditions and sports injuries, whilst promoting health and well being. She has a special interest in the management and rehab of musculoskeletal and spinal stability through Clinical Pilates and movement mechanics. Kylie has furthered her clinical knowledge by partaking in many courses in Mulligans Concept, Clinical Pilates, Lumbo-pelvic Stability, Gerontology (Level 2), Women’s Health, Real time Ultrasound assessment, and Dry Needling.
Kylie is also dual qualified, graduating with Honours from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Rehabilitation in 2000. She is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sports Science Australia, focusing on Chronic Disease Management. With this background Kylie has a very active approach to injury management and is a certified Functional Movement assessor and trainer.
Kylie has travelled around Australia with her husband working as a Physiotherapist and enjoying the outdoors. She keeps fit and active herself to keep up with her three very busy and energetic children. She leads a very full life of fun, passion, coffee and wine!
