Women’s Health and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy are Anna’s special interests. Anna is particularly passionate about connecting these sectors of physiotherapy, as well as treating patients with a full and thorough assessment to discover and treat what is driving their issue.
Anna treats a variety of conditions including pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, pregnancy related pain, and abdominal separation. Anna is very aware of the alarmingly high statistic that 1 in 3 women will prolapse, and 1 in 2 will suffer from incontinence at some stage in their life.
Anna is extremely passionate in her quest to prevent this from happening through thorough pre-natal assessments to prepare the woman for labour, and post-natal assessments to assess the risk of prolapse and encourage a safe return to exercise.
Anna graduated with a Master in Physiotherapy in 2007 from the University of Sydney, and has enjoyed working as a physiotherapist in Wollongong, Sydney and London.
Outside of work, Anna enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors and of course; coffee and wine!
